Barkada - A Filipino Delight

Liberty Netuschil October 3, 2017

Garrett and I popped into a Filipino brunch this Sunday, and I have fallen. No more traditional Eggs Benedict or bland breakfast; this cuisine brought out colors, flavors, textures and love to match the sweet family owned business. Not to mention, when we walked inside we were immediately greeted by Kurt, a restaurant manager, to talk about what is in the making at this 6 month old place. Soon to come will be live entertainment with bands, comedians or karaoke night, a stocked bar filled with your favorite liquor and TVs to match the scene, and VIP booths for the high-end customers to get extra comfy. We were also informed this will be a hot spot for dinner and brunch, so I guess we have to come back!

We tried a variety of food including: Shredded Adobo Eggs Benedict, Tapsilog, Coconut French Toast and Garlic Noodles. They also didn't let us leave without tasting their famous Buko Cheesecake. Overall, this restaurant is in for the making. The food was spectacular, the service was on point, the dining area is very comfortable with an open layout making it welcoming, and it's very reasonably priced. I can't wait to come back!
