Upon arriving to The Little Door, you might almost miss it due to the unmarked, dimly lit exterior. The only thing inviting you inside is a historical, handmade large wooden door and a couple string lights to keep your path lit. But as you enter, a hostess will greet you with a smile and you will be taken back in time to a cozy outdoor European street. Couples laughing, trees surrounding the customers like a blanket and a red brick floor to lead you along the exterior, or into the small open layout building with comfortable booths and pillows.

Rated "The Most Romantic Restaurant in LA" by the LA Times, this outdoor European dining takes you far, far away from Los Angeles with its vines reaching up the walls, dim lighting offering only glowing faces and food that races you from city to countryside almost immediately. The Little Door once was a small schoolhouse and was transformed into the iconic, classy and luxurious dining spot it is now.

I dined at The Little Door my first year in Los Angeles, four years ago, and ever since it has been my favorite restaurant. There is nothing like a quiet, elegant atmosphere with wine on tap to fill your pallet as you step away from busy 3rd street. The waiters are gentlemen and offer the finest dining experience, while the food takes it from there. There's no wonder why they were rated Most Romantic Dining in LA!
